Production of a short documentary film named "Piso apo to vouno - Behind the mountain"
In the summer of 2011, Tritoxo, consistent to its belief that environmental consciousness is achieved primarily through culture and education, decided to participate in the 1st Short Documentary Film Competition, organized by the Metsovion Interdisciplinary Research Centre (M.I.R.C.) of the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.). The subject of the competition was "The environment and development of mountainous regions". The mountain region of Zagori, in Northwestern Greece was chosen, for its unique natural environment and its significant architectural heritage. The film was completed and submitted in October 2011. Eventually, it received the second prize in the competition, which was awarded in a ceremony in the N.T.U.A. in Athens, in June 2012. The film has been shared online since the beginning of 2012.
